At 4:00 PM: Presentation of the film “Christians of Algeria: On the Paths of Encounter” by Jean DULON, director, followed by a screening (duration: 52 min – co-produced by KTO/Grand Angle Production 2017)
In “Christians of Algeria: On the Paths of Encounter,” Jean Dulon traces the path of the Catholic Church in Algeria over thousands of kilometers across the heart of the country. What is the Catholic life like there? What “encounter” occurs with Muslims? What space is there for practicing one’s faith freely? Small desert communities, city priests, Brothers and Sisters serving the population gradually outline the contours of a nearby, fraternal Algeria, where the builders of Hope have a place in the land of Islam.
