An Event for Firefighters in Nice
Since June 22nd, firefighters have been competing at the Palais des Expositions in Nice. 25 French delegations and 2 international delegations are competing in a National Challenge event.
Schedule for This Saturday, June 25th
Besides the competitions and the expo village, the closing ceremony of the event will take place. In addition to the awards ceremony, you can attend the presentation of a check for the benefit of the orphans. The ceremonial passing of the shield to the Departmental Director of SDIS Haute-Vienne, who will organize the 2023 Challenge, will also take place.
Honored in Vence
In Vence as well, firefighters are being recognized this Saturday. The ceremony for the National Firefighters’ Day will be held at Place du Grand Jardin at 10 a.m. During this ceremony, a tribute will be paid to the fallen and promotions and medal awards will take place.
Mr. Bernard Gonzalez, Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes, will deliver a message from Mr. Gรฉrald Darmanin, Minister of the Interior, addressed to all firefighters. Mr. Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Department and the Administrative Council of SDIS 06, will also be present, along with Mr. General Controller Renรฉ Dies, Director of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Alpes-Maritimes.
