First anniversary in Nice for the UDI

udi-2.jpg In fact, throughout this past weekend, many flyer distributions, meetings, and discussions were organized in the Alpes-Maritimes, culminating with executives, supporters, and elected officials who celebrated this first anniversary together at Place de la Libรฉration in Nice, late Saturday morning.

After the traditional family photo, Rudy SALLES, President of the UDI of the Alpes-Maritimes, briefly highlighted the key figures of the Union of Democrats and Independents: “with 50,000 members, the UDI is the 3rd largest party in France.

With more than 3,000 members and supporters, around sixty elected officials, our federation is one of the most dynamic. In opposition since 2012, we want to create a credible and constructive opposition. This first year, very rewarding for the centrist group in the National Assembly and the Senate, indicates that we are on the right track.”

Alongside the departmental delegate, Serge AMAR, Rudy SALLES discussed the local ambitions of the UDI: “Locally, we are establishing a true partnership with the UMP, which will allow us to achieve our goals, having over a hundred UDI elected officials in the Alpes-Maritimes.”

Therefore, a very favorable future for this political formation that continues to progress and is indeed one of the few not accused of giving undue attention to the National Front, unlike the other two major political forces ahead of it.
