– “Carouge en Fête” celebrates its historical ties with Nice
Nicknamed the “Sardinian City” due to its past, Carouge is the Swiss sister of Nice but also of Turin and Chambéry, as all these cities once belonged to the House of Savoy.
From September 2 to 11, 2011, Carouge is celebrating the 225th anniversary of its attachment to the canton of Geneva.
As part of these festivities, Nice will be honored.
