The Nice Wrestling Club, Stade Niรงois, and Nice Cรดte d’Azur Omnisports are joining forces to organize the first Beach Rugby & Wrestling event in Nice. This weekend at Ponchettes Beach on the Promenade des Anglais, today from 1 PM to 6 PM.
The program includes the three clubs showcasing all aspects of their respective activities through numerous activities.
A mini rugby field will be set up where both experienced passersby and novices can engage with the oval ball in rugby workshops. A Beach Wrestling Open will be organized along with a wrestling initiation. The wrestling club will set up a combat area where everyone can learn some specific moves and postures.
The event will be sponsored by recent world freestyle wrestling champion Zelimkhan Khadjiev.
The players of the first team of Stade Niรงois will be present this Sunday afternoon on the sands of Ponchettes.
