Latest News

On Saturday, May 7, the Consulate General of Italy hosted the closing evening of the European Dubbing Days, with the screening of the film “An Italian Summer (Genova)”.

doublage-2.jpg A major first for this new cinematographic event which seems to have found its place in the cultural landscape of the City of Nice.

Held at four locations: Saint-Jean d’Angély University Center, Nice Cinémathèque, Mercury Cinema, and the Italian Consulate General in Nice, this event allowed the people of Nice to discover the professions in the dubbing world, often very mysterious.

4 days, a little over 1,000 spectators, about ten screenings, live dubbing sessions, and meetings with about thirty professionals, including authors, adapters, artistic directors, and actors….

A very positive outcome for this event which found a true raison d’être, which is to raise public awareness of the writing work done so they can watch films in dubbed versions.
A resounding success for a first edition that calls for more, and will gradually open up to other nations.
