Strong of its valuable experience and the success of the 2009 edition with more than 70,000 participants across different sites, Famillathlon has received this year the government label “Feel Sport, Feel Well!”
Program of Famillathlon in Antibes
At Fort Carré, all public, private, and associative actors of family sports will be gathered. The program includes: Handisport, gymnastics, judo, hockey, volleyball, pétanque, basketball, badminton, judo… each to their own activity.
Exceptionally, the Antibes fire station will offer fire demonstrations as well as a training course adapted for children.
Famillathlon in 8 cities in France
The “family, sport, and health” events will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2010, in Rouen and Marzy-Nevers, and on Sunday, September 26 in Paris (Champs de Mars), but also in Bargemon-Draguignan, Chartres, Saint-Cloud, and for the first time in Lille and Antibes.
For the third consecutive year, Famillathlon has received support from Kinder as part of its commitment to making sports accessible to all.
About Famillathlon
Created in February 2005, Famillathlon consists of a team of volunteer mothers who use both their family experiences and professional skills to organize family and intergenerational events. For Famillathlon, the objective is to promote families during a sports-related event and connect them with the world of sports, health, and solidarity. In 2010, Famillathlon received the label “Feel Sport, Feel Well!” from the Ministry of Health and Sports.

Free shuttle (line 13) from the Old Town to the Fort Carré parking lot, approximately every 15 minutes, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, except Sundays and holidays.
