For their fourth friendly match, the Gym finally secured their first victory with a 2-1 win on the field of Standard Liège.
After the very good news from the previous day (PSG’s victory in the Coupe de France allows the Aiglons to be directly qualified for the Europa League group stage), the team from Nice managed to win in Belgium thanks to goals by Dolberg from a penalty and Kamara.
It was Hassane Kamara’s first goal in his new colors.
This match also allowed us to see Morgan Schneiderlin for the first time since recovering from his knee injury, and he started as the holding midfielder behind Lees-Melou and Boudaoui.
The next friendly match will take place on Saturday, August 1st, against FC Dac, who won 2-1 against Olympique de Marseille.
