Michel Vauzelle, president of the PACA Region, announced an exceptional emergency aid amounting to 4 million euros to assist the affected residents and municipalities of the Alpes-Maritimes.
The Region will implement a system similar to the one used in the Var during the Draguignan tragedy in June 2010.
A one-stop service will be established at the 06 office of the PACA Region in Nice. It will welcome the public, elected officials, businesses, etc., provide information on regional aid, and assist with the preparation of applications. This dedicated team of regional agents will process the applications as quickly as possible.
A steering committee will be set up to oversee the proper execution of this aid plan for the affected areas.
