Starting Saturday, Fnac will offer two books by Japanese authors, with all proceeds from the sales being donated to the Japan Solidarity Fund, managed by the Fondation de France, the company announced on Wednesday.

These two titles of Japanese literature will be prominently displayed in all its stores in France and available on fnac.com.

The first, “Le Pont flottant des songes” (Folio) by Juichirô Tanizaki, sold for 2 euros, is a tribute to motherhood and a reflection on the image of women. The second, “Haïku du 20e siècle” (Poésie Gallimard), a collective work on these short poems highly valued in Japan, is sold for 6.70 euros.
