Call for Applications from March 20 to April 12
Bands and artists are required to submit a CD, a photo, and an original cover letter at the reception of their participating Fnac store, as well as a video (concert excerpts, original presentation, fan testimonials…) on the website www.fnaclive.com/fetedelamusique.
After selection by Fnac’s record sellers, one band or artist will be invited to be the opening act at the Fnac stages in Nice and Monaco for the Fête de la Musique on June 21, 2008, under the Trophy of Augustus at La Turbie.
Through this event, Fnac aims to highlight young talents. This initiative aligns with the brand’s commitment as France’s leading record store to foster musical creation and discovery. It is part of the many activities organized throughout the year, such as the Springtime Discoveries of Bourges and Fnac, the FnacIndétendances festival at Paris-Plage, and the organization of more than 2000 encounters and showcases in its forums.
