The Allianz Riviera will host the Italian national team for the first time on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at 8:45 PM for an international football match against the Uruguayan team.
This match will pit two of the most decorated teams in football history against each other: the Squadra Azzurra, with 4 World Cup titles, 1 European Championship title, and 1 Olympic gold medal; and La Celeste, with 2 World Cup titles, 15 Copa America victories, and 2 Olympic gold medals.
This will be the Squadra Azzurra’s second match in Nice, following a friendly match on August 20, 2008, against Austria (2-2) at the Stade du Ray.
