Football: OGC Nice Transfer Update

Latest News

As every week, we give you an update on OGC Nice’s summer transfer market. The official presentations of Franck Haise and Florian Maurice took place this Friday, June 28, in front of the press.

“It’s also one of the factors that convinced me. Here at OGC Nice, even though there will be departures, there is already a squad with a lot of quality, in which I have great confidence and that is compatible with my style of play,” explained Franck Haise at the press conference this Friday, June 28.

In principle, Franck Haise should stick with a system similar to the one he used at Lens, a 3-4-2-1 setup. Performing well in the Europa League will be one of the main ambitions for the Nice season.

Marcin Bulka and Pablo Rosario not for sale

According to Nice-Matin, both players are considered not for sale during this summer transfer window. Pablo Rosario was notably targeted by Ajax Amsterdam. Both players are central to the Aiglons’ plans.

As announced last week, Khephren Thuram is expected to join Juventus Turin. The transfer fee is estimated to be โ‚ฌ18 million. The Italian club’s midfielder, Joseph Nonge, is expected to move in the opposite direction. The Belgian would join the Nice team in this deal. The first moves of the transfer market are starting to materialize.

Franck Haise wants to recover one of his former players

As announced last week, Jonathan Gradit appears to be on Nice’s radar. The RC Lens defender could join his former coach, Franck Haise, on the Cรดte d’Azur. However, Lens’ management is reportedly not inclined to part with one of their key players.

Finally, OGC Nice will celebrate its 120th anniversary this Tuesday, July 9. On this occasion, the club is organizing an event at Castle Hill. Several activities are planned throughout the day.
