The Secretary of State for Sports, Thierry Braillard, confirmed that all professional matches in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 will be played this weekend.
“The life goes on. We must get used to the idea that life continues,” he explained. Therefore, Nice vs. Lyon will indeed take place this Friday at 8:30 PM at the Allianz Riviera, but without the OL supporters.
However, there will be increased security measures, and supporter travels will be prohibited.
The public is advised to arrive at the stadium as early as possible to streamline checks and minimize waiting lines.
Finally, the national anthem will be played before each match in tribute to the victims of the attacks.
