On March 15, Christian Estrosi met with the Minister of Transport, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari. Together, they signed a partnership agreement to enhance security in the transport systems of the city of Nice.
The main goal of the agreement is to bring about new innovative solutions that will ensure greater security in transport, particularly involving new technologies.
Initially, a call for expressions of interest will be launched. Various stakeholders, such as companies and others, will be encouraged to propose new solutions that are not yet mastered or identified by the city’s services. These solutions, which aim to improve security, will then be tested while adhering to the current regulations.
To go further, we are signing a partnership with @Djebbari_JB regarding transport security. Given the complexity of the subject, we are creating a local coordination and innovation group for all modes of transport, co-led by the State and the @VilledeNice. pic.twitter.com/dyeRD0pKG4

The State is already supporting investments in transport within the metropolitan area. As a reminder, 57 million euros will be committed by the State for four different projects, including tram line 4 (30.29 million euros), tram line 5 (18.96 million euros), the high-level service bus (6.47 million euros), and the cable car (1.48 million euros).
