Eric de Montgolfier, 70 years old, former public prosecutor of Nice, will advise the Socialist candidate Benoît Hamon in the presidential election on matters of justice.
For 13 years, until 2012, the year he left for Bourges as attorney general, he handled numerous sensitive cases, notably leading a long battle against Freemason networks.
He retired in June 2013 and is now venturing into politics.
