Latest News

The driver from Nice took part in his second Grand Prix in Malaysia. The Marussia driver managed to finish the race in a very commendable 13th place, again ahead of his teammate Max Chilton and the Caterhams of Pic and Van der Garde.

After his 15th place in the first Grand Prix of his career in Australia a week ago, Jules Bianchi continued to demonstrate his abilities this weekend in Malaysia. He was 20th in the first and last practice sessions, and 18th in the second practice session, once more managing to outperform the Caterham cars and his teammate Max Chilton. The same story unfolded during the qualifications. The driver from Nice again outperformed the Englishman and the Caterhams of Charles Pic and Giedo Van der Garde.

Starting from the tenth row in the 20th position, the young driver from the Cรดte d’Azur once again managed to complete the entire Grand Prix. The “Aiglon” finished 13th in the Malaysian Grand Prix, once again ahead of his direct competitors. The race was won by the German Sebastian Vettel ahead of his teammate at Red Bull, the Australian Mark Webber, and Briton Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes). The day’s winner regained the lead in the Drivers’ World Championship with 40 points, 9 ahead of the Finn Kimi Rรคikkรถnen (Lotus). This Grand Prix is challenging as the physical demands put the drivers’ bodies under severe stress. The drivers admit they struggle to catch their breath in the heat of Sepang.

Jules Bianchi, therefore, did not score any points after two races but showed that he has the potential to reach the 9th or 10th place, which would earn him the last available points. The next meeting for the drivers will be in two weeks for the Chinese GP.
