In May 2011, for the third consecutive year, the Lenval Foundation organized an information campaign targeting taxpayers liable for the Wealth Tax (ISF).
Indeed, since 2008, the law has allowed these taxpayers to deduct 75% of the amount of their donations to a recognized public benefit foundation from their tax.
Taxpayers from the Cรดte dโAzur liable for the ISF can, if they wish,
extend their generosity to the sick children of the Cรดte d’Azur, through a foundation that has been close to them for 123 years.
Hence the theme: “My Wealth Tax for Our Children”.
This year, the tax reform has led to the postponement of the ISF declaration and payment deadline, originally scheduled for June 15, to September 30, 2011.
On this occasion, the potential impact of this reform on the financing of foundations will be highlighted.
In 2011, all donations received in connection with the ISF will contribute to the funding of the development work for the new House of Adolescents and the Youth Health Hub.
The House of Adolescents is dedicated to welcoming, free of charge and without appointment, all young people aged 12 to 20 from the Alpes-Maritimes department who feel the need to talk about their difficulties in
a friendly environment specially designed for them.
It serves as the headquarters for a health network for adolescents with a departmental focus.
The close partnership formed between the Youth Health Hub and the House of Adolescents, the attendance of these facilities, the decision to include a part-time treatment unit, and the plan for a central location in Nice have led the Lenval Foundation to acquire new premises at 2 Raynardi Street, Nice.
The development work began on March 4, 2011, in the presence
of Ms. Marina Picasso.
