Four students from EDHEC BBA will represent their country’s colors at the Rio Olympic Games. The four athletes are enrolled in the BBA Online program, launched in 2011 to meet the specific needs of high-level athletes.
Charlotte LEMBACH, 28 years old, is in her third year of the EDHEC BBA.
The French fencer, a member of the French women’s sabre team, won a team silver medal and an individual bronze medal at the European Championships. At the Olympic Games, she will also compete in both the team and individual sabre events.
Lara GRANGEON, 25 years old, is also in her third year of the EDHEC BBA.
The French swimmer will represent France in the 400-meter individual medley, the 200-meter individual medley, and the 200-meter butterfly events. She will also participate in the 4×400-meter medley relay.
Cloรฉ HACHE, 18 years old, has just finished her first year of the EDHEC BBA.
Following her good results at the French Championships, she will represent France in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay. The swimmer, who is one of the young hopes of French swimming, is a member of the OLYMPIC NICE NATATION, the club that won 9 gold medals at the last Olympic Games in London, with which EDHEC Business School has signed an agreement.
Reina-Flor OKORI, 36 years old, will represent the colors of her native country, Equatorial Guinea, at the Olympic Games.
Currently in her third year of the EDHEC BBA, the athlete will be participating in her fourth Olympic Games. She benefited from the solidarity of the EDHEC community, which launched a crowdfunding campaign to help her finance her studies and participation in the Olympic Games.
