The Mediterranean University Center hosted the conference “Water: A Vital Resource” this Thursday on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Israel.
The conference provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges and risks related to water issues in Israel. France and Israel have worked hand in hand on risk prevention and environmental issues, using their cutting-edge technology to address Israel’s current challenge: water.
Under the presidency of Her Excellency Aliza Bin-Noun, the Ambassador of Israel to France and Monaco, various speakers presented the latest experiments conducted to conserve water in a context where climate issues are significant.
The conclusions indicate that the current strategies and policies continue to be upheld by highly qualified professionals in science, engineering, agriculture, technology, and management.
