The association Nissart Per Tougiou will host Jean-Luc Gag for a conference on his grandfather Francis Gag, on Friday, February 27 at 6:30 PM.
Born in 1900 in Nice, Francis Gag created in 1936 the theater troupe known today as the “Niçois Theatre of Francis Gag” where traditions and humor intertwine for the great pleasure of the people of Nice.
A dreamer and humanist, he was in love with Nice and its county, and dedicated his life to the defense of the Niçois language and culture. Through his talent and ingenuity, Francis Gag embodied the wisdom and subtlety of the Niçois spirit in his masterpieces.
Jean-Luc Gag, his grandson, will offer the opportunity, this Friday, February 27, to rediscover his grandfather’s beautiful love story with his native land.
Meeting at 6:30 PM at the Niçois Cultural Center “Lou Trident”, at 14 Avenue du Trident in Nice.
Free entry.
