Christian Estrosi announced on May 29th. Starting tomorrow, residents will be able to get tested for COVID-19. To do so, they simply need to register to make an appointment at one of the three locations selected by the city of Nice.

Registration takes place on the website set up by the city council (depistagecovid19.nice.fr). For those who do not have internet access, they can call 04 97 13 56 00 (Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.). The municipality states that a response will be provided within 24 hours by SMS or email. It will include the day, time, place, and a QR CODE. The testing will take place at one of the three sites: the Nikaia hall, the Exhibition Palace, or the Verdure theater.

However, there are conditions to be met: one must necessarily be a permanent resident in Nice. It is mandatory that the person has had no symptoms in the past 15 days. Otherwise, they will be redirected to the Vauban center for a PCR test. Upon arrival, you will need to present the appointment confirmation, an identity document of the person to be tested, proof of residence, and the family record book if the person to be tested is a minor.

The results will be delivered within 48 hours on a secured site that will be accessible exclusively by the patient or the practitioner.
