The French Cup Final between OGC Nice and Nantes will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2022 in Paris. For this occasion, a duo of Nice fans of OGC Nice has decided to walk to the capital.
The goal?
Of course, to support their team during this crucial moment, but also to raise funds to “inspire young people in precarious situations”.
They have had the opportunity to travel a lot to follow the many matches of the Gym, and they know it’s a privilege. They therefore wish to share the emotions they have felt so many times with as many people as possible.
A trip will be organized for a group of children from the region with the help of the club’s donation fund.
To raise funds, the adventurers are using the crowdfunding platform: HelloAsso. They have set a goal of 3,000 euros.
The 840 km journey promises to be complex, with a plan of 42 km per day for 20 consecutive days. This adventure can be followed on social media (@iclo and @cindynolli). Internet users can challenge the couple, and if they succeed, they will be granted a bonus of 25 km.
The bonus can take various forms, such as permission to use public transportation or even the possibility of hitchhiking.
Many cities will be crossed, but this does not intimidate the walkers at all.
