On the sidelines of the French Cup round of 16, OGC Nice traveled to the Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux to face a team struggling in the second division.
Beware of the trap! Even if the duel seems unbalanced on paper between the Nice team, runners-up to PSG in the elite, and the Bordeaux side currently closer to the National Championship than to Ligue 1, the French Cup sometimes holds surprises.

The reduction of the gap by Gaétan Weissbeck (76th) did not change the outcome of the match, dominated by a confident azure team. Final score: 2-3.
The Gym will be back next Saturday at the Allianz Riviera. Dante’s team will face Metz for the 19th day of Ligue 1.
