The Fnac stores in Nice and Monaco invite you on Sunday, June 21st, to La Turbie starting at 6:30 PM to properly celebrate the Festival of Music. An outdoor stage will be set up facing the sea, under the Trophy of Augustus.
On the evening’s schedule: the band Felipecha. A newcomer to the French scene, the duo made up of Charlotte and Felipe will introduce you to their first album “De fil en aiguille.” She sings, he composes, plays, and writes. A gentle mix of poetic rock, performed by the angelic voice of the singer combined with the subtle virility of her partner.
Before discovering this new aerial duo, the first part of the concert will feature the artist from Nice, Hannah. Winner of the Fnac 2009 springboard, this young woman will present some pieces from her repertoire with Anglo-Saxon pop-rock influences.

The neighborhood committee of Parc Imperial in Nice is also organizing its own music festival. For the occasion, the neighborhoods of Le Piol, Grosso, Châteauneuf, Gambetta, and Fleurs have come together to propose two events on Sunday, June 21st.
At noon, a tribute to Paganini will be given by the violinist Julien Fourrier in the apartment of the late virtuoso, at 23 rue de la Préfecture.
Starting at 7 PM, a musical evening will take place in Balzac alley. Members and residents are invited to come and share a moment of conviviality around French songs.
Grassy radio Agora FM (94.10) is organizing a special show for the 2009 Music Festival. The celebration will begin the night before starting at 10 PM on air. The teams from the shows “L’Oreille qui gratte” and “Rock Intimity” will collaborate to offer live music until 6 AM. From independent rock to pop-rock through classical, Agora FM will even give self-produced artists a chance to perform live.
Alongside the events organized by the city of Nice, the Palace of the Sardinian Kings will also celebrate the music. In the presence of Christian Estrosi and Eric Ciotti, award winners from the Nice conservatory will offer various concerts in different locations of the Palace.
On the schedule: from 2 PM to 3 PM, you can listen to the Baroque Ensemble of Nice in the Ballroom. From 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, come attend the musical journey (cello, piano, violin, dance ballets…). At 7 PM and 8:15 PM the evening continues in the Ballroom with concerts by Zia Mirabdolbaghi and the Jazz Trio Sashird Lao.
