The alter-globalist demonstration, which gathered more than 8,000 people, took place peacefully and without incident.

Credit must be given to the organizers of this march, who, as should be the case in a democracy, managed to present their arguments without resorting to violence or damage.
As the G20 is about to begin, it is desirable that the dialogue with the alter-globalists can continue in this same spirit.
Christian Estrosi, who did not hide his deep concern before this march, did not fail to express his satisfaction: โAs the Mayor of Nice, I can only be pleased that my fellow citizens did not have to suffer from violence or damage, and that the essential activity of the city could continue normally.โ
