Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 6:30 PM, a ceremony will be held in honor of the athletes from Team CG 06 who distinguished themselves during the London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
After a “blue harvest” at the London Games, the athletes from the Alpes-Maritimes are returning to their homeland, where a ceremony awaits them.
The General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, which supported and encouraged them throughout their preparation via Team CG 06 created last February, wishes to pay tribute to their talent, perseverance, and express all the pride they have inspired. A tribute will also be given to their clubs and coaches, who support them throughout the year.
Among the medalists present: swimmers Yannick Agnel, Alain Bernard, Charlotte Bonnet, Elodie Lorandi, Clรฉment Lefert, Camille Muffat; handball player Daouda Karabouรฉ; kayaker Emilie Fer, and gymnast Hamilton Sabot.
The athletes from Team CG 06, both selected and not selected for the Games, will also be present.
