The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Regional Choir and the Coline en Ré association present their gala evening this June 12 starting at 7:30 PM, in the salons of the Negresco Hotel in Nice. Under the patronage of mezzo-soprano Béatrice Uria-Monzon, internationally renowned guests will enliven this exceptional event that will combine music and gastronomy. Michel Piquemal, conductor, John Gade, virtuoso pianist, Gilberto Pereyra, bandoneonist, and 60 choristers from the Regional Choir will offer a concert, followed by a gourmet dinner.
The proceeds from this evening will be distributed between the two organizing associations.
The Coline en Ré association has been collecting funds since 2003 to improve the lives of children in danger in the fields of health, protection, or access to education. Among its many actions is the Virtuosos of the Heart Competition, which aims to publicize talented young pianists.
The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Regional Choir brings together around a hundred experienced singers from the region and Monaco. Driven by its artistic director and founder Michel Piquemal, it reveals rare works alongside choral classics.
