I would first of all like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy holiday season and to extend my warmest wishes of happiness, health, and prosperity for this new year 2011. May it be a year full of surprises, unexpected joys, and conducive to exciting projects.
For our part, this upcoming year will once again be far from restful.
We will continue following last year’s agenda (click here to see the agenda) which was quite busy, while also integrating new must-attend events like Les Étoiles de Mougins where this year, art will be in the spotlight with exceptional guests.
Furthermore, the office is calling for applications for the positions of Secretary-General and Deputy. These positions are open to everyone, and the mission will be to use their writing skills in documenting our outings and other oenological events.
Please send your application by return email, no later than one week before our next General Assembly.
Concerning the General Assembly, it will take place on Monday, January 24, 2011, starting at 10:00 AM at the Château de Crémat and will be followed by a lunch buffet and a presentation of wines distributed by the commercial agency E-DIS represented by Gilles Mouraille and commented on by the winemakers themselves (Click here to see the list of winemakers present).
During our General Assembly, there will be the opportunity to discuss our association, and for this purpose, I kindly ask you to share any questions with the office that is concluding its third and final year of leadership.

Regarding this new year, I will do everything in my power to restore our association to its former glory by working to bring as many sommeliers and other wine-enhancing personnel as possible back into our establishment. For this, I rely on your support and help. To kick-start the initiative, this email has been sent as an invitation to join us to all the starred and other prestigious restaurants in the region, and you can believe me when I say that I will make it a point to dine at the association’s expense in each of these restaurants until they have affiliated a member of their staff with our esteemed association.
