Gift Wrapping Operation: A Simple Gesture for a Great Cause

Latest News

Until December 20, Handicap International invites the people of Nice to support its actions by participating in its “Gift Wrap Operation” at the Joué Club store. This charitable initiative combines the festive spirit with humanitarian commitment.

Handicap International is relaunching its “Gift Wrap Operation” in several French cities, including Nice. Until December 20, volunteers from the organization will be at the Joué Club, rue Notre-Dame, to wrap customers’ gifts. In return, customers can make a donation to support the actions carried out by the NGO.

The funds collected will help finance humanitarian programs in around sixty countries. These actions aim to meet the needs of people with disabilities and vulnerable populations.

For Ysaline Mermet-Gerlat, Head of Mobilization Operations at Handicap International, the mission is simple: “No specific skills are required, just a good spirit to welcome customers. The more people we have, the better it goes.”

How to participate in the initiative?

In Nice, volunteers will be mobilized at Joué Club on December 12, 13, 19, and 20. Volunteers can join the team for a few hours or more. Every effort counts.

Handicap International organizes this operation in other major cities, such as Lyon, Paris, and Dijon. Anyone can also create their own initiative if nothing is planned in their locality.

The Gift Wrap Operation offers the chance to give a special meaning to the end-of-year festivities. In just a few minutes, each customer can turn a moment of conviviality into an act of solidarity. A wonderful way to give a gift with a double meaning.
