After an intense week, the Régates Royales de Cannes make way for the classic regatta linking Cannes to Saint-Tropez, the Coupe d’Automne of the Yacht Club de France. The sky was quite overcast in Cannes, and it was in uncertain conditions that the competitors set out for this coastal course of about twenty miles.

The finish of this Coupe d’Automne will be judged in front of the Jean Réveil pier in Saint-Tropez, with the last competitor required to arrive before 6:30 pm to validate the race.

Among those registered for this linking regatta are some big names in classic yachts such as Ikra, which came specially from Saint-Tropez to participate in this regatta, Sovereign, another 12 MJI, Altair, Chinook, Mariska, the two Moonbeams, Nan of Fife, Manitou, Sirius, and Sonny, as well as Shamrock V and Savannah.
