OGC Nice claimed victory this Sunday in their first league match against RC Lens thanks to a brace from Amine Gouiri (2-1).
Although they started the match poorly with a penalty conceded early on by Dante and scored by Kakuta (11th minute), the Gym gradually got back into the game by relying on the individual talents of their attackers to come from behind.
Thus, former Lyon player Amine Gouiri, positioned on the left flank, scored the first goal for the Gym with a magnificent curling shot that looped over Lens goalkeeper Leca (23rd minute).
