A total of 432 apprentices from the 2016 class, including 13 valedictorians, received their graduation diplomas. This ceremony was also an opportunity to unveil the new logo of the CFA, marking the transition from the CFA of Carros to the CFA of the Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur.
Apprenticeship is a true weapon against unemployment. The CFA leaders have committed to showing and demonstrating the importance of apprenticeship in the current world.
Each year, the Apprentice Training Center (CFA) of the Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur University of Trades welcomes and trains nearly 1150 young apprentices and adults.
Several fields are concerned, ranging from CAP in baking, hairdressing, pastry, cabinetmaking, dental prosthetics, prevention and mediation agent, to BP in aesthetics, baking, hairdressing, butchery, all the way to BTS in Aesthetics or Dental Prosthetics.
In her speech, Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, Senator, Deputy Mayor of Nice, and 1st Vice President of the Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur CFA, expressed her immense happiness and pride in participating in this graduation ceremony, “Apprenticeship is a field of excellence and represents a peaceful, balanced, and bright future for our youth. This diploma is the recognition of your talents, of your skills. It is the first step in a successful journey.”
Since January 1, 2017, the Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur has been the managing body of the Apprentice Training Center (CFA), previously managed by the Carros municipality.
And on July 1st next, the CFA of Carros will officially become the CFA of the Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur.
