On Friday, at 5 PM at the Mediterranean University Center, Christian Estrosi, president of the Metropolis, and elected officials will present diplomas to apprentices from the 2018 class of the Nice Côte d’Azur Apprenticeship Training Center (CFA).
The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan CFA welcomes and trains nearly 1,100 young apprentices and adults each year in 13 professions and nearly 22 certifications, ranging from the CAP in bakery, hairdressing, pastry, woodworking, dental prosthetics, prevention and mediation agent, to the BP in aesthetics, baking, hairdressing, butchery… up to the BTS in Aesthetics or Dental Prosthetics.
Apprenticeship is one of the most effective responses in combating youth unemployment: more than 85% of apprentices from the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan CFA succeed in their professional integration after their training (national average: around 60%).
Since January 1, 2017, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis has been the managing body of the Apprenticeship Training Center (CFA), previously a municipal service managed by the town of Carros.
