In order to aid disaster victims residing in Vésubie, Roya, and Tinée, all three devastated by Storm Alex, which struck the Alpes-Maritimes on October 2nd, a large solidarity concert will be held in Mougins this Saturday, October 24th. The program will include classical music, jazz, and feature numerous artists from the region.
Following donation drives set up by many local associations, the Mougins municipality, in collaboration with the Municipal Conservatory of Music, decided to launch a music concert whose proceeds will be allocated to the families affected by Storm Alex, which impacted many households in the hinterland.
A concert that will help raise funds that the municipality will directly redistribute to the affected communes. The event will then be recorded and published on YouTube to continue the fundraising efforts.
Among the many artists who will be present are pianists David Levy and Mark Solé-Leris, cellist Frédéric Audibert, and the three duos of violin, harp, piano, and clarinet from the Cannes orchestra, and many more. A group of musicians led by Renaud le Dantec.
The show will take place in Mougins, on Saturday, October 24th, at 3 PM. Online reservations are available, and tickets can be picked up at the venue, Scène 55.
