Launched in 2009 by the city of Nice, StarSeniorS is the essential meeting point for seniors who wish to fully enjoy their retirement and pursue their dreams to the fullest.
Having become national in 2010, and international this year, StarSeniorS attracts more and more candidates each year. In 2012, 370 seniors over 55 years old came from all over France to try their luck.
This year, 381 candidates were auditioned in France, Italy, and Spain.
The jury* selected 21 finalists who will perform on the stage of the Palais Acropolis this Sunday. For several weeks, the candidates, aged 55 to 79, have been rehearsing tirelessly to deliver the best of themselves to an ever-growing and enthusiastic audience.
Talent, emotion, and tenderness will be showcased in this grand finale hosted by Marc Toesca, orchestrated by Thierry Noll, under the attentive ear of the patron of this 2013 edition, Christian Delagrange, a singer-songwriter and filmmaker.
The program of this finale:
2:30 PM: Opening speech and presentation of the candidates
from 3:15 PM: candidates’ performances
around 6 PM: announcement of results and award ceremony
