Grasse hosted the 18th International Farm Animal Exhibition* last weekend, organized by the Côte d’Azur Poultry Society. The event was as successful as usual, drawing thousands of visitors from the entire department.
The exhibition showcased an exceptional variety of purebred farm animals, naturally raised by passionate amateur breeders who aim to protect, conserve, and promote these magnificent specimens.
These animals, representing the major regions of France and Europe, were part of a “beauty” contest better known as the “Poultry Contest,” which took place before the official opening to the public.
This European partnership allows the organizers to ensure a remarkable quality presentation.
For the enjoyment of the youngest visitors and for educational purposes, schoolchildren and leisure centers were able to stroll through the exhibition aisles and discover these animals: their characteristics, food, grooming, etc.
