“Le Temps des Contes” was created with a single purpose: to make you travel to the Land of Dreams.
The festival is a moment of sharing conducive to meeting and exchanging and is organized by the Agglomeration Community of the Pays de Grasse, in partnership with the municipalities of the area and their libraries and media centers.
It will take place from July 21 to 26, 2014, in Mouans-Sartoux, Auribeau-sur-Siagne, Pégomas, La Roquette-sur-Siagne, and Grasse. Twelve performances will be offered during the week.
This year again, the festival will use its powers to transport you into the fantastic world of tales… and heroines will be honored for your greatest pleasure.
The festival’s mission is to revive and allow it to flourish!
It will unfold “its hers” and scratch a little at the surface of tales to dust off centuries of stereotypes and reveal astonishing female figures.
Often gentle, obedient, passive, the heroines of fairy tales are frequently pale reflections of women.
How and why has time erased, trimmed this radiant femininity in tales?
Storytellers from all over France and even Switzerland will be coming just for you, to tell you the story of these women.
