GRDF, the main gas distribution network manager in France, is launching its work-study program with 30 positions available for the start of the 2024 academic year in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.

For the 2024 academic year, GRDF is offering 30 students the opportunity to join the company in a work-study program. These positions allow candidates to train from the professional baccalaureate level to a specialized master’s degree, providing numerous career opportunities within GRDF. These positions cover all the company’s professions, with a focus on those related to the ecological transition of gas.

For candidates, this offer represents more than just a simple work-study job; it offers the possibility to engage in a meaningful mission that aligns with contemporary environmental challenges.

The Benefits of Work-Study at GRDF

In addition to an enriching mission, GRDF is committed to offering advantageous financial conditions to its trainees. Beyond a salary often higher than the legal minimum, the benefits include access to annual incentives and support with accommodation. Indeed, the company assists trainees in finding housing and covers part of their accommodation expenses. Additionally, travel between home and the workplace is 50% reimbursed, and for those living far from their school, travel related to the work-study program is covered at 100%. For some assignments, a financial aid of up to 1,000 euros is even offered for obtaining a driver’s license.

Joining GRDF on a work-study program represents more than just a professional opportunity. It also means actively contributing to the ecological transition and the responsible operation of the gas distribution network. GRDF’s employer brand is based on four fundamental pillars: meaning given to the job, team spirit, the desire to learn and develop, and commitment to the energy and ecological transition.

In France, nearly half of the trainees trained in technical professions were hired at the end of their work-study contract in 2023. These recruitments of graduate trainees represent 20% of permanent contracts hired within the company, thus demonstrating GRDF’s commitment to youth and professional integration. Additionally, GRDF is also committed to diversity by recruiting trainees with disabilities every year.
