This Sunday, the grand day of steeplechase racing will take place at the Cagnes-sur-Mer racetrack. A traditional winter event, this afternoon will bring together the best steeplechase horses and offer a great spectacle to those in attendance, accompanied by numerous activities.
Seven high-level races will take place from 12 PM to 4 PM. This day is eagerly anticipated by racing professionals as well as horse racing enthusiasts. A month after the obstacle meeting began, this event is the highlight for horse trainers and owners. The most beautiful races will follow one another, some with rich prizes such as the Grand Prix of the City of Nice (โฌ140,000 to be shared among the top five finishers) and the Grand Cagnes Hurdle Race (โฌ80,000).
These races attract top Parisian trainers like Jean-Paul Gallorini, Yannick Fouin, and David Windrif. This is an unmissable event while races in Paris and its surroundings are on pause until early March. All will try to add a line to an already well-filled record and leave the Cagnes ring with a trophy in hand.
Exciting races for adults and activities for the whole family at the racetrack. On the program: king cake with gifts for the lucky ones who find the charm, inflatable structures, a carousel, and pony rides. Note that the first 300 at the ticket booths will be offered, by the Sociรฉtรฉ des Courses de la Cรดte dโAzur, a piece of king cake and a glass of champagne. Everything to enjoy a beautiful sunny day at the Cรดte dโAzur racetrack before school resumes for the little ones and work for the parents.
