Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, has aimed to permanently transform the city center through an ambitious policy of revitalization and beautification, in order to make Nice a green, smart, and pleasant city to live in.
The Coulรฉe Verte project was conceived and initiated within this dynamic to develop an urban park in the very heart of the city. This true green lung will cover 12 hectares, stretching from the National Theatre of Nice to the current Albert 1st Garden, thus creating a link from facade to facade between Old Nice and the 19th-century city.
While the first phase of the construction is progressing according to the announced schedule, with the creation of the Esplanade de la Bourgada and the redevelopment of the forecourt of the Eglise du Vลu, Christian Estrosi will present this Friday, March 23, on the Forecourt of the Eglise du Vลu the model for the second phase of this project for the Albert 1st Garden sector.
