Gyms are finally open, the perfect opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes and preparation for this reopening that has been long awaited.
That’s what Nicolas, the manager of Fitness Park in Magnan, shared with us today. A high turnout is what the employees of the center are expecting. Many emails, phone calls, and even pre-registrations have been recorded in anticipation of this reopening that people are eagerly awaiting, he tells me, “people need to move, to exert themselves.”
The health crisis has been difficult for everyone, we know, but to what level of difficulty did the Fitness Park in Magnan have to face? “Let’s say it happened very suddenly, it was tricky to plan as we didn’t know when we would reopen, we were kept in suspense without having a specific date, it was very inconvenient,” explains Nicolas. The company faced significant turnover within its staff, even though they benefited from partial unemployment.
What do you need to bring to protect yourself when going to the gym? Just a mask and common sense by respecting the health measures in place. Hand sanitizer and a spray will be available to clean the machines, all of which are spaced at least one meter apart. A scan linked to the “Tous anti-Covid” app will also be available.
Every gym, like everyone else, hopes not to face a potential new wave. The consequences would once again be dramatic, as Nicolas rightly put it, “we live day by day, we can’t really plan ahead.”
