Latest News

Brest Bretagne Handball won (26-27) this Saturday in Nice, in the first leg of the LFH playoffs semi-final.

The return match will take place on Sunday, May 5th (7 PM), at the Brest Arena and promises to be thrilling.

The match between two teams of the same caliber (2nd and 3rd in the championship) was well-balanced.

In the first half, the gap between the two teams did not exceed two goals, and at halftime, the two teams went to the locker rooms neck and neck (15-15).

In the second half, Ana Gros (8 goals) and her teammates showed better control, created a gap (19-16, 34′), contained the comeback of the Nice team (22-22, 52′), then took the lead (27-24, 54′) and maintained it, despite a sluggish finish, which allowed Kolev’s team to come back to within 1 point.

Despite this defeat, nothing is definitively settled for the Nice team, who will have a second chance to reach the final in the return match on Breton soil, Sunday, May 5th.
