The women’s team of ASPTT Nice Handball dominated the Rhรดne-Alpes team of Vaulx-en-Velin (33-24) at the Eucalyptus gymnasium in Nice this Saturday, February 19, 2011, during the 16th day of the second division. The Nice team is still in fifth place overall and is five points behind the second place team, Bรจgles. However, anything is possible since Franck Bulleux’s players have two fewer matches than their direct opponents for a potential promotion to the first division (virtually six more points).
Next step: the Nice team will go up against the first place team, Noisy-le-Grand, on Saturday, March 12, in the Paris region.
