The Cavigal ends in a draw against Villeneuve Loubet Handball. An away match that turned out to be more complicated than expected.
After last week’s victory, Cavigal was eager to replicate this result. Villeneuve-Loubet, being 10th in the standings, was an easy opponent for Nice, who are first. However, since the match was played away, it was much more complicated than expected for Jean-Zephirin Gรฉrald’s team. In fact, the first half was in favor of the Villeneuve players, who led with a score of 13 to 11.
A second half neck and neck
The second half saw Nice recover from their deficit. Both teams then made their stride until the final whistle. The score stood at 23 all at the end of the match. The MVP of this match was awarded to Villeneuve player Nicola Faure, who scored 8 goals.
The next meeting for our eaglets will be on Saturday, April 13 at 6 p.m. when Cavigal will face Istres away.
