Ten days after their victory against Nantes, Nice made a perfect return to business by securing their second win of the season against Dijon (27-18).
Facing a fatigued Dijon team in their third match in three days, the Eaglets were assertive, creating an initial gap at the end of the first half (15-10 at halftime), led by the effective Ehsan Abdelmalek (7/9).
Upon returning to the field, Christophe Maréchal’s players couldn’t halt the opposing momentum, struggling against a well-positioned Nice defensive block (22-14 at the 45-minute mark).
Serious and focused, Linnea Torstenson’s teammates (5/6) perfectly controlled the end of the match, ultimately winning 27 to 18 without faltering.
In goal: Sako 6/22, Colic 2/4.
This victory allows the Azuriennes to climb into the Top 5, while Dijon remains stuck at the bottom of the standings.
