The seasons follow one another but are not alike for the women of OGC Nice Handball, and this one seems to be off to a poor start.
The women of Nice once again lowered their flags (22-28) against Paris despite having the home advantage, and the standings are suffering as a result: 9th out of 11 after 8 games played (2 wins, 1 draw, 5 losses). Enough to question whether the mix has not quite come together.
Last night’s match was a clear example: the women from Nice quickly took the lead (2-1) but had to chase after it throughout the game. 9-13 at halftime, and it continued until the end.
The championship will take a break and return after the Christmas and New Year holidays. Upon resumption, it is hoped that we will see an OGC Nice worthy of the name and not the pale imitation that was presented yesterday at the Charles Erhmann sports hall.
