Two teams from the Hungarian handball club “Tisza Volán SC” are invited this weekend by the city of Nice to participate alongside local teams in the “Challenge du coeur,” organized by the handball section of ASPTT Nice.
These young Hungarians from the city of Szeged, twinned with Nice, will thus share a sporting, human, and charitable experience with young athletes from Nice. Sport is indeed a unique and enriching opportunity to strengthen ties between nations.
Each edition is dedicated to a charitable association or foundation. This year, the challenge will be held in memory of Christian Morando, a municipal employee of the city of Nice and caretaker of the Pasteur hall, who recently passed away during his service. The funds collected will be donated to his family.
