Handball: The Aiglonnes win against Dijon 28-22

Latest News

OGC Nice triumphed over JDA Dijon Hand at the closing of the 21st day of the regular season championship (28-22, FT). The Aiglonnes claim their 15th victory of the season in the LFH.

Challenged in the first half by Christophe Maréchal’s players (14-15, HT), the Aiglonnes raised their game in the second half, relying on a more effective defense, perfectly supported by an exceptional Hatadou Sako (13 saves / 20 shots).

Despite the absences of Carmen Martin, Jannela Blonbou, and Linnea Torstenson, Nice once again demonstrated their ability to perform without their key players, a promising sign for the major upcoming fixtures. In the Playoffs, OGCN will face Fleury Loiret Handball (6th place) and will have the advantage of hosting their opponent for the return leg of the quarter-final.

On the other hand, Dijon remains 10th in the standings and will have to go through the Playdowns to secure their place in the LFH.
