On Friday, May 27, 2011, at 2:30 PM at the Centenary Beach in Nice, a training/awareness event will take place for young officials and sports courses: the “Handiroad.”
Handiroad is a sporting event with the aim of:
• Raising awareness among the young officials of the National Union of School Sports (UNSS) about disabilities,
• Promoting the possibilities of disabled sports and adapted sports,
• Raising public awareness about the actions of the General Council and Nice Côte d’Azur in favor of people with disabilities,
• Integrating people with disabilities during sporting events.
On the same site, several sports areas will be set up to allow students with disabilities and young UNSS officials to participate together.
